I

Am officially done with my first semester at college! I had my very last final today! I get to spend the rest of my break doing this...
and hanging out with this cute thing....
AKA: Minnie, the 7 month old loabordoodle my family is babysitting for the holidays!
All in all I think this semester has been quite successful. I guess we'll see when grade are posted.

The truth

About finding your prince and living happily ever after. Lets get real here girls, happily ever after with your prince is so incredibly rare. Sure there are times that everything is going great! But then something will happen, something always happens. Even once you step into marriage your not safe. Think about all the cheating! When I was younger my all time favorite Disney movie was The Little Mermaid. Such a classic. I even went so far as wanting to dye my hair red when I was 5. I bought the hair dye at the store and everything. I always wanted my very own prince Eric as well. Just when I thought I finally got my happily ever after with my very own prince Eric, I was proven wrong! Boys are horrifying creatures, I don't know why fairy-tales want us to think we will end up happily ever after. We won't. Because boys suck. If I end up having a son I will have to make sure he ends up being a gentleman who always treats girls right. Too bad I have not been fortunate enough to meet a boy was raised as a gentleman.

I just want my own Prince Eric!

Stalkbook

Today I am extremely bitter. The reason, unknown. But thats how it is today. I got on facebook for the first time in a week and a half, had 5 messages, 21 notifications, and 10 friend requests. I wonder WHY we thrive on social media. Most of the times we use facebook simply to stalk people who either we don't know very well or friends that have come and gone from our lives. It made me think, if I really want to know what is going on in these peoples lives, I should either become friends with them, oh, or actually pick up the phone and call them. But for some reason, I don't. It is easier to sit on my computer and look at pictures of their lives then make a real connection with them. Its pathetic. Its embarrassing. And everyone who has a facebook has probably caught themselves doing this before. Not only does facebook suffice as a useful stalking mechanism. But, it also just gives us pages upon pages on newsfeed on people we don't really care about. There are so many people who pop up on my newsfeed that I don't want to hear about. I'm sure everyone has those people that pop up and when you read their status, you go..."Really?" Well thats what I'm talking about. Facebook has just made us extremely judgmental and ridiculous, I have definitely been affected by this. But WOW. This world definitely is better without social media....
But on the other hand... I can't get rid of it.
Problems of the new generation
Sorry for the rant
